Denver-based Rachio announced two new appointments on Nov. 1 that emphasize the company’s commitment to growth.
The company produces smart controllers and wireless flow meters. Rachio also serves professional landscapers with extended warranties, training, customizable marketing materials and a professional directory to connect with homeowners.
Sarah Heitzman is the new chief revenue officer for Rachio. Formerly a principal at consulting firm Bain & Company, Heitzman specializes in growth strategy, digital strategy, operations and operating model design.
“I’m ecstatic to be joining the Rachio team in a time with so much momentum behind us, and am inspired by the company’s mission, the passion of the team and the incredible award-winning products that have been built,” Heitzman said in a statement. “I’m excited to work with the team to grow current areas of our business as well as help uncover new opportunities for growth.”
Rachio’s new chief marketing officer, Julie Reeves, joined the company earlier this year as vice president of marketing. Her expertise is in marketing and research on consumer packaged goods. Since joining Rachio, she has helped expand the company’s ecommerce operations and drive acquisition, according to the statement.
“It’s a joy to market a product as thoughtfully created and well-built as Rachio,” Reeves said in the statement. “I enjoy hearing from our consumers about how much they love the intuitive nature of the product and our best-in-class customer service. Rachio truly makes it easy for our fans to get the yard they want.”
