SiteOne announced in October 2017 that it completed its acquisition of Colorado-based Harmony Gardens. Harmony Gardens will maintain its locations in Fort Collins and Brighton, just north of Denver.
“Harmony Gardens nursery is a natural fit with SiteOne as they add nursery products to our existing irrigation, agronomic, hardscape and landscape lighting product lines in Colorado,” Doug Black, chairman and CEO of SiteOne, said in a statement. “This acquisition aligns with our mission to be the best full-line distributor to landscape professionals, and further bolsters our market position and strengthens our customer relationships.”
Black cited Harmony Gardens’ “passionate and talented team providing excellent quality, service and value to their customers” as valuable benefits of the acquisition.
After an acquisitive 2017 (the company made eight acquisitions last year, and announced in late December 2017 that it had entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Richmond, Virginia-based hardscape supplier Pete Rose, Inc.), SiteOne stock reached a 52-week high of $77.40 on Jan. 2.
